Aku tersesat
Menuju hatimu
Beri aku jalan yang indah
Ijinkan ku lepas penatku
‘tuk sejenak lelap di bahumu
Dapatkah selamanya kita bersama
Menyatukan perasaan kau dan aku
Semoga cinta kita kekal abadi
Sesampainya akhir nanti selamanya
Tentang cinta yang datang perlahan
Membuatku takut kehilangan
Ku titipkan cahaya terang
Tak padam di dera goda dan masa
Dapatkah selamanya kita bersama
Menyatukan perasaan kau dan aku
Semoga cinta kita kekal abadi
Sesampainya akhir nanti selamanya
Dapatkah selamanya kita bersama
Menyatukan perasaan kau dan aku
Semoga cinta kita kekal abadi
Sesampainya akhir nanti selamanya
Dapatkah selamanya kita bersama
Menyatukan perasaan kau dan aku
Semoga cinta kita kekal abadi
Sesampainya akhir nanti selamanya

Will work for happiness
When I first decided to join this company I had a rough picture of what I would be doing here. The best case scenario is I would have my own office, an assistant and some staffs under my wing. The other scenario I had in mind is I would follow my boss around in meeting new clients and looking for projects. 8 months later, I learned that it was not exactly what I had imagined.
My main goal or job description of joining this new, foreign company is so that I will head a new subsidiary. A 100% bumiputra company that would enable us to apply for those tenders that require bumiputra status. It’s not really your typical Ali-Baba partnership. Apart from putting my name on the company’s org chart, I actually had to work for the parent company. As a project engineer as my offer letter says, do just about everything my colleagues do. All the dirty, hard, smelly work you might say. I’m fine with that. I expect to work to get paid.
The first few months, I did pretty much nothing save for some computer editing works. You know edit some AutoCAD drawing, or convert some PLC tags, those simple things. I was supposed to learn the ropes of this PLC and automation thing, like a real engineer. The thing is, it’s not I don’t want too. It’s really hard you know those industrial automation thingy. It’s like learning a whole new language. It’s like changing your job from a fisherman to a barrister. It’s world apart. My forte has always and will be computers and I.T. Fixing stuff, building some simple website or do some simple programming. Those PLC things on the other hand are like cracking the Enigma Code. It’s that hard.
But how could PLC software and engineering be so hard? Aren’t they computer related too? Well yeah for anybody who has studied for 3 years at school and have had some basic practical. Me, I have zero knowledge when I first came here. And more importantly, very little interest. I thrive with IT. It’s something I love to do. I always preach this slogan like if you really love your job, you don’t to go to work ever again. You just go enjoy yourself. I am not practicing what I preach. I don’t currently like my job and I’m far from enjoying it.
